Wedding Bells

I have never been set on the idea of marriage. I don’t fantasize about the sparkling diamond, wedding dress, or engagement gala that my future may or may not hold.

At least I didn’t until I picked up this month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar. After discovering that Lanvin will be launching a small collection of beyond-gorgeous wedding gowns and fabulous, quirky engagement rings (with the help of Van Cleef & Arpels), visions of walking to the altar are infiltrating my thoughts . Lanvin’s idea of marital bliss looks like the wedding ensemble of every girl’s dreams (even mine, if I were to dream about that sort of thing) with a kooky spin from the ever-eccentric Alber Elbaz.

I want it all, right down to the shimmery silver flats and rosette-adorned veil. Now I’m ready to get married. If only I can get through this first round of finals.
