Calling all science lovers! Procter & Gamble and its program Wings (Women's Initiative Next Generation) are helping to introduce young beauty lovers and product junkies to a myriad of awesome jobs in the science/cosmetics industry. This year, P&G Wings hosted another nonprofit group called Young Women in Bio Science Career Leadership. Young Women in Bio (YWIB) works to engage young girls in science careers. During their day at P&G headquarters, participants got a special peek into the life of a beauty chemist. One girl in attendance, Shira Rubin, was so taken with the experience, she decided after the event that she wanted to become a chemist! Because of her enthusiasm, Shira, a fourteen-year-old who lives in Baltimore, was treated to the ultimate CoverGirl experience--a full day of makeovers, a glammed-up photo shoot, and a tour of the CoverGirl headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
